Facility Use Policy

1. Inquiries regarding the use of Franklin Road Academy facilities will be directed as follows:
   • Non-Athletic areas—Director of Finance
   • Athletic areas—Athletic Director
2. Facility Use Form (below) will be completed by entity requesting use.
3. Consideration will be made as to school calendar conflicts, type of use requested, whether rent should be charged and at what rate (break-even or profit).
4. If use is permitted, entity will provide FRA Certificate of Insurance, Hold Harmless Agreement (attached) and rent.
5. Appropriate “keeper” of school facility calendar will reserve space and dates.
6. Renter will pay for FRA custodian that must be present for entire event.
7. Renter will pay FRA staff member that must be present for entire event.
8. Renter will provide security personnel/off duty police officer for the event (can be waived by FRA).

FRA shall require

• Certificate of Insurance showing $1,000,000 general liability
• FRA to be named as additional insured for event
• Hold Harmless Agreement
• Payment for custodial services that are arranged by FRA
• FRA staff member required in attendance for entire event
• Security personnel may be required (determined by FRA)
