College Interviews

There are three types of college interviews:

  1. The on-campus, group interview is used to inform prospective students. This interview is not used for purposes of evaluation.
  2. The on-campus, personal interview is a direct, one-on-one interview. This interview should be considered as part of the admission process.
  3. The off-campus interview, usually conducted by an alumnus, is also used for evaluation.

Students are encouraged to be attentive when admissions representatives visit Franklin Road Academy. In many cases, first impressions ay be considered during the application process.

College visits should include a scheduled interview. Schedule these well in advance of the visit.

Students should dress appropriately for formal interviews.

A Lot to Be Modest About

Occasionally you may encounter a challenging question in an interview, such as, "Describe yourself in five adjectives." One clever applicant answered, "Articulate, attractive, intelligent, athletic, modest."
