Curriculum

In grades 9 — 12, the goal is to prepare students for college and the responsibilities of adult life within the community. In addition to academic preparation, emphasis is placed on activiites which develop spiritual values, leadership qualities, and a devotion to our national heritage. To this end the school offers a full range of curricular and extracurricular activities.

The academic program stresses fundamentals of English, including grammar, literature, composition and vocabulary; mathematics, science, and social studies. Two years of a foreign language are required. Advanced placement courses may be offered in United States History, European History, World History, English Language, English Literature, French Language, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Latin Vergil, Studio Art, Statistics, Calculus AB and Calculus BC. Honors courses are offered in most subject areas.
