Annie, Jr.

The inaugural Middle School play, Annie, Jr., was a huge success. Talented performers, stage hands and set designers wowed audiences at each performance.

Special thanks is extended to Zach Sullivan, Gracie King, Elise Hudson , Don Hall and Chris Crockarell. Cindy Thornton's set design was delightful. Director, Musical Director and Producer Jamie Roberts and Choreographer Julia Howell worked tirelessly to be sure that every prop, cue, dance step and musical notes were perfect!

As Miss Roberts says, "I am so very proud of all of our 49 Middle School students as well as stage crew, tech, and countless others who donated their time and talents to the production of Annie, Jr. Auditions were held in December and rehearsals started after winter break. We spent every day working scenes, musical numbers, and choreography from 3:15 until 4:30PM. As the show got closer, we practiced longer and with more intensity.

"During the week of production, progress and cohesiveness were evident. However, it wasn't until Friday night when I realized I am more proud of session.annie Jr. than any other work I have ever done. I have not done any performing, teaching, or anything else that has fulfilled me more. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everyone's endless energy. You, FRA students, made Annie Jr. come alive. I would love to get to know more parents and students so please feel free to stop by or e-mail me."

Adieu,
Miss Jamie Roberts
