INTERIM EXPERIENCES

Mission Trip

Each year during Interim, students may choose to spend a week serving others and spreading their love of Christ by participating in activities including building structures, painting houses, leading devotions and playing with the children in the communities.

International and Domestic Trips

Students are given the opportunity to travel domestically or internationally. While traveling abroad, students experience languages and cultures around the world - from wildlife excursions in Costa Rica and learning about the historic art and architecture in Italy to taking in football games in England.

Domestic trips also provide unique learning environments. Whether exploring the Big Island of Hawaii or enjoying a play on Broadway in New York City, students have the opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of some of our nation's most unique cities.

Local Experiences

Nashville is a great place for students to explore, learn, and immerse themselves in the culture of the city. Students have a variety of options - from touring historic Civil War sites, exploring cultures of those who have immigrated to Nashville, and going on an outdoor adventure in the city's beautiful parks to taking classes in photography, wood working, and yoga.

Work Study

Students may choose to spend the week shadowing a professional of their choosing. These experiences give students the opportunity to dive deep into a profession they may want to pursue or learn more about a field that interests them.
