The Tennessean Article About The Innovation Lab

“The opening of our new Innovation Lab highlights an exciting new learning space for our community and signifies the ongoing paradigm shift taking place in the world of education where teachers and students are often partners in the educational experience. The convergence of technology affords students the opportunity to not only dream, but to also take their ideas from concept to creation though an iterative design process.” – Sean Casey, FRA head of school

“This space will enhance our ability to create the kind of dynamic learning environment that supports our mission at FRA. In all of our classes, we want our students to wrestle with complex ideas and go through multiple iterations as they pursue solutions to problems. The Innovation Lab will allow students to utilize technology in this pursuit and will also significantly increase their ability to build, design, and create prototypes.” – Prentice Stabler, FRA head of upper school
