               Franklin Road Academy’s cross country team has dwindled this year but continues fighting strongly. In past years, the guys team has been large due to interest from guys wanting to get it shape for track. However, this year, last year, seniors made up the majority of the team leaving only the underclassmen. On the bright side, since no seniors are running this year, next year, the team will be solid. This year, both cross country teams have been training new runners including new freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. These two teams have one goal: get to state. Two races remain between FRA’s teams and state – Metro and All Region. Time is counting down until the deciding race, but the teams are fighting their way up and will be ready when it comes.
