The Beatles were a rock/pop band formed in England. Their band was comprised of rhythm guitarist and vocalist John Lennon, bass guitarist and vocalist Paul McCartney, lead guitarist and vocalist George Harrison, and drummer and vocalist Ringo Starr. The Beatles did not just produce one hit wonders but many popular and famous songs. Although The Beatles broke up in the 1960’s, they have changed music and have highly influenced current musicians.

When asked about The Beatles, band teacher Mr. Chandler said, “They took blues based music, America’s music, to a wider audience –A worldwide audience.” Answers for favorite Beatles’ song include “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “A Day in the Life,” and “Come Together.” Recently, on September 9, 2009, all of The Beatles’ records were digitally remastered. Also, on September 9, 2009, Rock Band released the third version of their game series called The Beatles: Rock Band. This is the first licensed video game to include any of The Beatles’ songs. It is available for purchase for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii consoles. This game features forty-five Beatles’ songs from records such as: The Beatles (The White Album), Abbey Road, Sgt.
