2003-2002: In both 2002 and 2003 BeyBlades were the item to own. BeyBlades are fighting toy that spins off for battle. They are originally from Japan and quickly flooded the American market.
2004: RoboSapien was the hot item for Christmas in 2004! It is a remote control, fourteen inch humanoid robot. It performs sixty-seven preprogrammed actions and movements. Every boy from the age of eight to twelve had to have this toy.
2005: XBOX was the first game system that gave users the ability to connect to the internet. It beat Sony to the punch by creating this game with the ability to also play DVD’s.
2006: The PS3 was Sony’s response to the popular XBOX from the previous year. This PS3 had the ability to play Blu-Ray disc while the XBOX could not.
2007: The IPOD touch was innovative technology from Apple. It gave the users access to the internet and the ITunes store which allowed the user to purchase music on the go. Also, the IPod had a touch screen that made everyone want it.
2008: Elmo Live was the top seller for Christmas in 2008. This life like Elmo had the appearance of actually moving his mouth when talking. Live Elmo also waves his hands, sits and stands, even crosses his legs with a tickle or squeeze.
