Signature Experiences
Learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our Signature Experiences offer immersive, real-world experiences that inspire students to explore, create, lead, and serve, locally and globally. Whether traveling abroad, launching a business, or making a difference in the community, these programs empower students to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Entrepreneurial Leadership
From designing business plans to launching real products or LLCs, this program provides students with the tools to turn ideas into action. Through hands-on experiences and mentorship, students develop confidence, creativity, and critical career skills, regardless of their starting point.

Digital Media
Rooted in broadcast journalism, our Digital Media program invites students to dive into the fast-paced world of content creation. Whether filming, editing, reporting, or producing, students learn to tell compelling stories across platforms, building technical skills and a strong creative voice.

Robotics and Innovation
From coding in lower school to building complex robots in upper school, our Innovation Labs provide students with hands-on access to emerging technologies. These spaces spark exploration in fields such as robotics, biotechnology, and engineering, laying the groundwork for future innovation.

The Turner Fellowship
This six-week paid summer internship gives rising seniors the chance to serve Nashville-based nonprofits and make a real impact. Fellows also become eligible for the Turner Scholarship, supporting their college journey while reinforcing their commitment to service and leadership.

Heart to Heart and THRIVE
Heart to Heart and THRIVE offer meaningful educational opportunities for students with Down syndrome, from Pre-K to age 21. FRA students serve as peer mentors, helping create a community rooted in empathy, collaboration, and lasting friendships.

Faculty Fellows Program
The Faculty Fellows Program is designed to bring dynamic early-career educators to FRA for one-year fellowships. Fellows are typically only one to two years removed from their undergraduate work. All fellows are paired with a mentor teacher with whom they collaborate throughout the year, adding another instructor to the classroom and another mentor for our students.
