Co-educational settings provide opportunities for students to develop their voices and develop as leaders while supporting one another. A co-educational community helps students develop empathy, emotional intelligence, and healthy relationships as they prepare for college and beyond. Students learn to value each other's perspectives and strengths, which helps break down stereotypes and promotes a more inclusive environment.

Co-education mirrors the diverse workplaces and communities that students will encounter, preparing them to interact effectively with people from various backgrounds and viewpoints. The diverse perspectives in a co-educational classroom can lead to richer discussions, foster critical thinking, and prepare students for a multifaceted world.

It's a good idea to start the process early in the fall, before the year your child would attend. For Pre-K, applications are due on December 1, while Kindergarten through 12th grade applications are due January 6, with decisions released February 28. It's helpful to schedule a campus tour, complete the application (which includes assessments and interviews), and stay up to date by checking the school's website regularly. Yes, FRA offers optional morning transportation services in the Belle Meade, McEwen Drive, and Concord Road areas for a fee.

FRA provides fun, meaningful experiences before and after school. Students are eligible to participate on early dismissal days and during school holidays. Before care begins at 7 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. After-school enrichments are available through the extended day program for lower school students. There is a fee for both before and after care and enrichments.
