2024 Alumni Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees
We are pleased to announce the 2024 Alumni Athletics Hall of Fame inductees. This year, we will induct Coach George Weicker, Derica Wyatt Madole '13, Clif Tant '94, and the 2002 Girls Soccer Team.
2024 Distinguished Alumni: Anderson Kenny '89
We are pleased to announce the 2024 Distinguished Alumni recipient will be Anderson Kenny '89. He is a member of the 12-Year Club, and while at FRA, he played football and was on the wrestling team. The FRA art program and David Tucker inspired and shaped his future career.
Anderson attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville, earning a degree in Architecture. After college, he worked for Centerbrook Architects in Essex, Connecticut. He later met his wife and moved to New York City, where he worked for Michael Graves, Peter Marino, and Victoria Hagen before launching his own firm 10 years ago. He is currently the founder and CEO of Anderson Kenny Architecture. The firm is a full-service practice that encompasses a range of commissioned residential and commercial projects.

In the fall of 2023, Nashville Glasshaüs opened its doors. FRA alumnus Wyatt Maxwell '15 established a place where Nashvillians can grow, create, and dream. Wyatt is excited to tell the story of how his business began and how FRA has been instrumental in bringing this establishment to life. Glasshaüs offers a variety of unique experiences for everyone, including glass-blowing classes, event venue rentals, an art gallery, glassware for purchase, and even a coffee café. At the heart of Glasshaüs is a mission that mirrors FRA’s commitment to inclusiveness, inviting all to be a part of something special. Long-time mentor and former FRA faculty member Coach David Tucker and FRA alumnus Paul Nelson '88 have partnered with Wyatt, using their skills and passions to help Glasshaüs grow and become an integral part of Music City’s fabric. Class of 2016 graduate Kenny Cooper was recently signed by Tigers Tübingen of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) in Germany for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Franklin Road Academy is excited to announce Rod Jones as our new Director of Alumni Engagement. Rod has been an integral part of the FRA community since 2010 and is currently the Director of Auxiliary Services, and teaches AP Psychology and World History in our upper school.
Heather Osteen Mathias, a proud FRA Class of ’97 member, is an award-winning designer, entrepreneur, and business leader. She has been named one of Nashville’s 40 Under 40 and, more recently, was honored as one of Nashville’s Most Admired CEOs by the Nashville Business Journal.
Clif graduated from FRA in 1994 as a 13-year club member. He played varsity basketball and was active in Young Life. He was a two-time state Champion (4x200m and 800m) in track. Today, Clif is the Nashville Market President for Old National Bank, responsible for building a commercial banking expansion for the $50B franchise.
Katherine Akers ‘10 and Kaissling Akers Anderson ‘11 are now second-generation owners of City Wide Solutions who are managing day-to-day operations.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Jerry Williams, a beloved member of the Franklin Road Academy community.
Caitlyn Manning (Class of 2016) was recently named Chief of Staff for the Middle Tennessee State football program. In her role, Manning will oversee the daily operational functions of the football program while working closely with head coach Derek Mason.
