On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the Office of Alumni Relations hosted the annual 12-Year Club luncheon. This tradition celebrates our senior students who have attended FRA for 12 or more consecutive years.
Recently we celebrated the career of Coach David Tucker and his 42 years at FRA. He is an institution in his own right. It was wonderful to have so many Alumni come back to campus to celebrate with us. Many have asked about writing to Coach Tucker. If you email me your note, I will ensure he gets them. He has a collection of notes he will treasure.
As we round out the month of May and bring this school year to a close, I am already thinking ahead to all that is to come with a new school year, Homecoming, Hall of Fame, Distinguished Alumni, more networking events, and reunion parties.
We are looking for class representatives to help get the word out to your class; if you would like to be a Class gent for your class, reach out to me. We want every class to have a class agent to keep each class updated and informed. Contact me if you are interested in helping out.
All the best,

Welcome New 12 Year Club Members!
We hosted the annual 12-Year Club luncheon on Tuesday, April 4. This tradition celebrates our senior students who have attended FRA for 12 or more consecutive years. We are so grateful for each of these students, their parents, and how they’ve helped grow and mold our school community.
After attending FRA for thirteen years and still being involved in the life of the school today as a coach, I see that FRA has remained dedicated to developing kids as a whole, not only athletically or academically but spiritually as well. There is a focus on developing well-rounded people and helping kids grow in all aspects of who they are. FRA's emphasis on faith is as strong as ever and has been the foundation of their work. I owe so much of who I am today to the principles instilled in me throughout my time at FRA.
It is no secret that FRA takes great pride in its alumni and their continued involvement in the FRA family. We recently sat down with Whitney Dunn Daniel, a 1999 graduate, and current community member to talk about her experience and memories at FRA.
It’s a gift to be able to reflect upon one’s life and pinpoint a truly-formative experience. As I look back on my thirteen years at Franklin Road Academy, however, it’s clear that the molding and shaping I underwent there spanned not just a singular moment but an entire childhood.
1989 alum and Union University women's basketball coach Mark Campbell won his 700th career game on January 18, reaching that mark faster than any collegiate coach in history.
Tymon Mitchell ’19 wrapped up his college football season with a second straight appearance in the National Championship game last night against Georgia.
Amelia Young '13 was recently recognized in Nashville Lifestyles Magazine as one of Nashville's Most Beautiful People. Currently, Amelia is reporting for NewsChannel 5 while significantly impacting the community of those around her.
Franklin Road Academy is set to honor one distinguished alumni and six athletics hall of fame inductees. The ceremony will take place on September 23 at 11 a.m. in the Upper School gymnasium.
On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, the Office of Alumni Relations hosted the annual 12-Year Club luncheon. This tradition celebrates our senior students who have attend FRA for 12 or more consecutive years. Parents and students enjoyed hearing from Head of School Sean Casey, Head of School for External Affairs Ryan Harris, and special guest speaker, Head of Upper School Jay Salato. Families spent time sharing memories and reminiscing on the many years spent together over lunch.
David Chandler graduated from FRA in 2017 and went on to attend Valparaiso University in Indiana. At Valparaiso, David studied computer engineering and just recently graduated this past May. During his time at FRA, David was very involved with the FRA robotics team, the performing arts, as well as helping teach design thinking courses during the summers. David has bee n important in not only building our program stronger within the FRA community, but in helping us learn how to better prepare students for moving on to college.
