Dance

The FRA dance program extends across all three divisions, and our youngest pre-kindergarteners to our rising seniors have the opportunity to learn and study the technique and choreography of dance throughout the year in preparation of a final showcase in April.

Lower School

Lower school students learn ballet, tap, and jazz technique in classes specifically designed for them. Students meet one hour a day, one day a week, and the program runs from September until April. Dancers will showcase what they have learned in the recital held at the end of April.

Middle School

There are two tracks for middle school dancers. Xpressions is a non-competitive company that focuses on styles and choreography of contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. Xpressions meets twice a week, and dancers will showcase what they have learned at the recital held at the end of April.

The FRA Dance Team is a competitive company that focuses on contemporary, jazz, and hip hop styles. The dance team meets three times a week and performs at one football and basketball game and will compete in one local dance competition.

Upper School
