From their first steps on stage as kindergartners in the lower school, FRA students are encouraged to express themselves through the dramatic arts. Students in grades K-8 have annual opportunities to participate in the performing arts, ranging from enrichment classes such as theater, theater tech, and set design to full-scale productions. Throughout these activities, students improve their confidence, stage presence, and storytelling skills. Each year, the stage comes alive with more than a dozen performances, including the beloved lower school musical, the middle school musical, and our upper school performances. We feature an upper school musical each fall and an upper school drama each spring.
