COACHES
Will McCauley
Head Coach
Coach Will McCauley is in his fourth year coaching MS Cross Country, Swimming, and MS Track at FRA.
After 10 years of club swimming in Buffalo, New York, Coach McCauley attended Wheaton College in Chicago, where he swam for four years. Between swim seasons at Wheaton, he became involved in community coaching, and has continued his development over the past three years at FRA.
Coach McCauley is a Christian, and he considers athletics an opportunity to worship the Lord. He loves seeing athletes improve, meet their goals, and work as a team, even in “individual” sports.
Savannah Carpenter
Head Coach
Savannah Carpenter steps into the co-head coaching role of the FRA Varsity and Middle School swim teams alongside Coach Will McCauley. She served as the assistant middle school coach last year and head coached the Williamson County Swim League team, the Ladd Park Sharks, to two championship winning seasons in a row in 2017 & 2018. Coach Carpenter has loved swimming since she began competing at the young age of three. She swam for a variety of the summer league programs in the greater Nashville area as well as swimming year-round seasons for both Nashville Aquatic Club and EXCEL. She also was a swimmer for the FRA swim team during her time as a student here. Outside of swimming, Coach Carpenter teaches 7th grade Math Course 3 and Pre-Algebra, and she helps with the Middle School musical.
