COACHES
Becky Knight
Head Coach
Becky Knight is from Auburn Alabama where she also attended college receiving her degree in Physical Education. Becky is the Varsity Girls Soccer coach, Middle School PE teacher, and also serves as the Physical Education and Wellness Department Head.
Sarah Moore
Assistant Coach
Sarah Moore graduated from Franklin Road Academy in 2009 and was a member of the 12 year club. While she was here at FRA she ran track and cross country all 4 years and cheered her senior year. After graduating from Franklin Road Academy Sarah went on to the University of Arizona in 2009 where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. After graduation she then went on to Graduate school at Lipscomb University where she graduated in 2016 with a Master’s in Special Education. After graduation Sarah came back to Franklin Road Academy where she started coaching the Varsity football cheer squad in 2015 and then the next year became the head coach in 2016. She also started coaching Middle School basketball cheer leading in 2018. Sarah is a Heart to Heart instructor and has been in that role for the last 5 years.
Hasan Clayton
Assistant Coach
Hasan is from Evanston, Illinois, where he attended Loyola Academy in a northern suburb of Chicago. He moved to Nashville in 2011 to attend Vanderbilt University. At Vandy, He double-majored in Psychology and Sociology while competing on the football team as an undergrad. He later completed my master's in education for Child Studies, where I focused on program evaluations for academic growth in non-profit organizations.
Hasan started teaching in 2015, where he worked at a local charter school in Nashville. He has taught grades 5-8 reading and writing throughout his career as a teacher. He later helped to create the inaugural middle school basketball team at Nashville Classical Charter School.
At FRA, Hasan looks forward to helping students reach their full potential athletically, academically, and socially by helping them thrive in various sports, providing rigorous English instruction to 7th graders, and encouraging them to be the most selfless people they can be. Hasan, his wife, and their son all hope to be a part of the FRAmily for many years to come.
Sean Adams
Assistant Coach
Coach Sean Adams is originally from Maumelle, Arkansas and attended Arkansas State University. While attending Arkansas State University he ran cross country and track & field as middle distance runner while earning his bachelors in Sport Management and master’s degree in sport administration. He has recently moved to Hendersonville, Tennessee and previously worked at Pope John Paul II Preparatory school. His former role was athletics assistant and full time substitute teacher while also coaching varsity football and varsity track & field.
Anne Marie Chambers
Assistant Coach
Coach AnneMarie Chambers has been at FRA since 2022. She coached Cross Country for three seasons and will now be working with the middle school track team in the Spring.
Coach Chambers has over a decade of experience in cross country as runner and coach. She ran at the collegiate level at Maryville College in East Tennessee where she earned a four-year letter. After spending a year away from the sport; she reentered the community as a coach. She believes the running community produces positive and determined students.
She also teachers 7th and 8th grade Spanish in the Middle School.
