Athletics at Franklin Road Academy exist to support the mission of the school.
We believe athletics are fundamental to the educational experience. FRA Athletics supports a Christ-centered philosophy that develops the total person. It is the responsibility of each team and coach to promote self-discipline, self-confidence, teamwork, accountability, and physical development in the student-athlete to prepare them for the challenges they will face in college and in life.
Franklin Road Academy holds a robust athletic tradition, including many titles and honors for our teams and individual awards at all levels of district, regional, and state competition. Development of our student-athletes emphasizes more than just winning; we teach the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, competitiveness and fair play, and how to act with respect and dignity, both in victory and defeat.

The 5th and 6th girls soccer team had an exciting season, and the girls dug deep and gave it their all for every game. This team radiated energy, confidence, and enthusiasm each step of the way. Although this team only played four games, they out-scored their opponents 19-2, and multiple players scored hat tricks.
Coach Wilbanks shares, “The 5/6 girls soccer team had an amazing start to the season! The team went 3-0 against Ensworth for the first two games and GCA for game three. I look forward to seeing how this group of girl continues to improve throughout the FRA soccer program.”
