Purpose: To immerse yourself in Peruvian culture and history through a truly educational experience

French Immersion and Exchange
Purpose: To culturally and linguistically immerse ourselves in French culture with an authentic experience with French families

Marine Biology
Purpose: To participate in marine conservation through sea turtle tagging, mangrove replanting, and marine wildlife exploration

Nicaragua Mission Trip
Purpose: To serve the communities in and around Managua with Hope Road and experience how God is working in our lives and around the world

San Fransisco - The Golden City
Purpose: To experience the iconic landmarks and culture of this technological hotbed

Local and Regional Offerings

Behind the Nashville Arts Scenes
Description: Based on student interests, this experience will include: backstage guided tours of TPAC and The Schermerhorn, tour of the Musicians Hall of Fame and The Dark Horse Institute, the Frist, and Grand Ole Opry/Ryman tours.

Description: Students will learn to replace an outlet or light switch, replace a leaky section of a copper pipe, and more complicated repairs.

Driver's Ed
Description: Brentwood Driver's School will be offering its Driver's Ed course, which consists of 30 hours of classroom and six hours behind the wheel instruction.

Eat, Pray, Yoga
Description: This experience will encourage holistic, healthy living through an immersion, which will help students slow down and reconnect with their purpose and faith. Students will experience the mental and physical benefits of yoga through visits to local yoga studios, eat at juice bars and healthy restaurants, write in gratitude journals, and participate in guided Christian meditation.

Girls Getaway in Gatlinburg
Description: Young ladies will explore the outdoors and natural beauty of our environment, disconnecting for a bit in order to enjoy fellowship with classmates, and volunteering at the Sevier County Food Pantry and Pets without Parents.

Into the Wild - Boys Trip
Description: The Altamaha River, near St. Simons Island and listed as one of the 75 "Last Great Places" by the Nature Conservancy, is the largest river in Georgia. Our trip will include 3 days and 2 nights camping and navigating the diverse and winding course of the Altamaha in a kayak through cypress swamps, abundant wildlife, sweeping views, and more.

Job Shadowing

This experience is by application-only. Students may not work with a member of their family; however, they are encouraged to work in their specific area of interest. FRA chaperones will facilitate this experience and speak with host professionals to ensure students are maximizing their experience in the workplace.

Learn to Play Inline Hockey
Description: This experience is an introduction to inline hockey skating and basic gameplay skills/strategy. It is cheaper and more accessible than ice, and students will be given more opportunities to continue to play in the spring, if interested.

Nashville's Professional Sports Administration/Facilities/Management
Description: The purpose of this trip is to allow our students to see first-hand the wide range of opportunities that exist within the profession of Collegiate and Professional Sports with an inside look at the athletic facilities in Nashville.

Only in Nashville: From Athens of the South to Music City USA
Description: This experience will expose students to all that Nashville has to offer culturally and historically, from its unique architecture to its roots in the civil rights movement to its establishment as the songwriting capital of the world and recent growth as an international tourist destination. Join us as we explore our amazing city.

The Original Maker Movement
Description: Students will learn how to work with various mediums: clay, fibers, glass, metals, and woods from professional artists at TTUs Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville. We will have lunch daily at The Redbud Cafe.

Description: Students will learn about the art of photography as we spend one full day in Nashville and two full days in St. Louis before developing our photos on the last day.

Understanding Songwriting
Description: The purpose of this experience is to introduce intentional listening habits and expose students to Nashville's songwriting scene. It will include Visits to premier venues and studios, speakers from across the music industry.

Women's Self Defense
Description: Students will receive self-defense instruction in both Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Students will also learn about social media awareness along with principles to help them stay safe in various situations.
