Beginning Saturday, November 6, masks will be optional for all students, faculty, parents, volunteers, and visitors. This policy is similar to the masking protocol during our summer programming when case levels were low. Students who wish to continue masking are encouraged to do so. We recognize there may be instances or events when temporary indoor masking will be required based on the circumstances. Details regarding any situational masking requirement will be communicated in advance.

Other mitigation measures will remain in place, including:

  • Distancing in classrooms and chapel
  • Sanitization and cleaning routines
  • Increased ventilation and air purification
  • Outdoor learning opportunities (weather permitting)

We understand that conditions may vary from week-to-week. The response levels established at the start of the school year allow us to adjust as circumstances change across campus and within the surrounding community. While we hope to be able to continue under a mask optional policy, we also recognize that if case numbers and quarantines on campus increase and start to create significant disruption to in-person learning, we may need to revert back to our previous mask policy.
