The FRA Fund is Franklin Road Academy’s annual giving program and the foundation of philanthropic support for our school. While tuition covers the essential costs of operating the school, the FRA Fund allows us to go beyond what tuition alone can provide. It enhances every student’s experience and empowers us to respond quickly to new opportunities and needs.

Gifts to the FRA Fund provide immediate, flexible resources that support our faculty, enrich academics, strengthen safety and security, and ensure that every student benefits from an exceptional educational environment.

We rely on the generosity of our community, including current parents, board members, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends, to help make all of this possible each year.

FRA’s fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. All gifts and pledges are due by June 30 in order to receive credit for a particular campaign year. Donors will be recognized in our annual Philanthropy Report that is published each fall for their previous fiscal year's giving. 

The FRA Fund provides vital resources that strengthen every part of the student experience. Gifts support faculty salaries, professional development, financial aid, safety and security, and programmatic needs such as athletic uniforms, musical and play props, and classroom and curricular materials.

Because different areas of school life hold special meaning for each giver, the FRA Fund allows donors to designate their gifts to the area that matters most to them.

Every dollar raised through the FRA Fund directly supports our faculty, students, and programs, enriching the daily experience of every student.

FRA tuition provides an excellent foundation for daily operations, but the FRA Fund allows us to go above and beyond, enriching every student’s experience. Gifts support financial aid, innovative programs, professional development, and campus enhancements.

Your participation ensures that every student benefits from a well-rounded and exceptional educational experience and demonstrates the strength and commitment of our school community.

Every gift, no matter the size, is vital to the success of FRA. We encourage families to give as they are able, because participation itself reflects the strength and support of our school community.

FRA Fund participation is also an important measure for prospective families and faculty, and it influences the decisions of foundations that support our school. While we are fortunate to receive grants from certain foundations, they expect to see strong parent participation as a sign of community commitment. Your gift, combined with those of other families, makes a meaningful difference for every student.

Many employers offer matching gift programs that match charitable contributions made by their employees. These programs have the potential to double or triple the impact of your gift to Franklin Road Academy. Some companies also match gifts made by retired employees and/or their spouses.
