Congratulations to our Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees

The Franklin Road Academy Athletics Hall of Fame was created to show appreciation to those individuals or teams who have made significant contributions to athletics at Franklin Road Academy. On October 8, 2021, Franklin Road Academy held the inaugural ceremony to induct three individuals and three teams into the Athletics Hall of Fame.

This year, we inducted a remarkable group of athletes who embody the spirit of FRA. Congratulations to John Ambrose, III ’83, Daniel Crockett ’86, Laura Matthews ’04, the 2011 State Champion girls basketball team, the 2001 State Champion cross country team, and the 1991 State Champion football team on their induction. Each of these individuals and team members continue to make an impact on our school community not only from how they exceeded on the field, but also through their commitment to our community. Those chosen for induction into the FRA Athletics Hall of Fame have influenced our community through their ability, dedication, and service to our athletic program while at FRA and following graduation.

Inductees were presented with a commemorative gift and a duplicate of a plaque that is displayed in the Athletics Hall of Fame located in the lobby of the Crockett & Tansil Fitness Center. Inductees were honored at a ceremony and luncheon during Homecoming week. Honorees were also recognized during halftime of the Homecoming football game.

Congratulations to all of our 2021-22 Athletics Hall of Fame inductees!
