Athletics Roundup: Oct. 10-16, 2022

Middle School Girls Soccer
The middle school girl's soccer team downed Nashville Catholic 3-1 last Monday. The girls returned the next day and earned a convincing 6-1 win over Lipscomb Academy. The team will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 19, to face Christ Presbyterian Academy at home.

The 5th/6th-grade girl's soccer suffered a 6-1 road loss to Ensworth. The girls are set to host Oak Hill on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 4:00 p.m.

Junior Varsity Football
The JV boy's football fell to Battle Ground Academy 28-0 last Tuesday.

Middle School Boys Soccer
The middle school boy's soccer team earned their first win of the season with a 4-2 win over Battle Ground Academy. They will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 18, when they face Popular Grove at home at 4:30 p.m.

Varsity Girls Soccer
The varsity girl's soccer team notched a 4-1 win over Goodpasture Christian on Tuesday in the region quarterfinals. The win ensured a bid to the state tournament as well. In the region semifinals against Battle Ground Academy, Charlotte Rapello scored a goal late in the first half. The Panthers fought hard the rest of the game but fell 4-1. 

The team will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 18, as they face St. George's in the first round of the TSSAA DII Class A State Tournament. The game will be on the road and will start at 5:00 p.m.
