Congratulations to our RoboPanther Teams!

Over the weekend, our RoboPanther teams saw amazing success after competing at the State Tournament. Although our upper school team’s season ended, we are incredibly proud of all their hard work and determination leading up to each competition.

All five FRA upper school teams qualified for the State Tournament, with about 70% of the team being new to robotics. Each team was selected for alliances before heading into elimination matches. Two of our upper school teams made it to the second round, while team 97934W received two second intervenes for their programming and build quality.

Our middle school teams also performed incredibly well at the VEX IQ State Championship, with team 56123C winning the Innovate Award. The Innovate Award is given based on a judged interview and a detailed scoring of their engineering design notebook. This team, Trevor Perrine, Ryleigh Rhoden, and Max Thompson, will be heading to the World Championships in Dallas this May. This team, only two seasons in, is the first FRA Middle School team to make it to Worlds.

Congratulations to ALL of our RoboPanthers and each of their coaches across both divisions for the hard work and determination they’ve put forth this season. Job well done!
