Robotics Teams Place First, Second in White House VEX Invitational

Congratulations to the upper school robotics teams, who sent three teams to last weekend's White House VEX Invitational in Memphis. All three teams advanced into the elimination bracket, and two teams went head to head for the championship.

Team Kronos, consisting of freshmen Spencer Guy, Garrison Harold, and Caleb Huddleston, placed first, beating Team Just Kayak, who includes freshmen Addy Carroll, Olivia Maki, William Roberts, and Christopher May, in the championship round.

The third FRA team, The War Machine, consisting of junior Tucker Smith and sophomores Campbell Jeffrey and Tennent Grace Smith, also advanced deep into the competition.

This is the third meet for the robotics team. Team Kronos has already qualified State championships as well as the US Open by winning two of the three competitions. In the last two meets, all three teams have made it to the semifinals.
