Congratulations to each of our robotics teams: teams V, W, Y, and Z, who qualified through robot skills scores this past weekend to qualify for the State Championship.
Last weekend, the teams attended the White House Hermitage meet where they saw significant success. All teams qualified for the State Tournament through their state-wide skills ranking.
Our RoboPanthers have worked hard before and after school, during their study halls, and any chance they can find to practice for these competitions. Scrimmages will be taking place with local schools next Thursday prior to the State Championship.
With 70% of the team being new to robotics with no prior experience, it is an amazing accomplishment showing the hard work the team has put forth.
Prior to last weekend’s meet, the X team, 97934X: Peter Nau, Bailey Bonde, Claire Conley, Mary Katherine McDowell and Calleigh Mangrum, had won the Create Award at the December Gallatin tournament.
The State Tournament will take place Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5 at Brentwood Academy, where 48 teams will be competing.
Congratulations to our incredible RoboPanther teams and their coaches for the amazing awards and accomplishments they’ve achieved so far!
