Lower School
Pre-k and jr. kindergarten
Over the next two weeks, we are asking pre-kindergarten and junior kindergarten classes to collect supplies that will help benefit a local ministry, Legacy Mission Village. LMV is an ministry that seeks to provide hope and healing to refugees in the Middle Tennessee area by empowering them with education and skills to achieve stability and facilitating successful integration into American society.
One of their biggest needs currently involves school supplies for high school aged students in their program. Additionally, we will be making care packages for these students filled with snacks and notes of encouragement. We have an incredible opportunity to love our neighbors and assist them in serving our community by bringing in the following supplies:
- Lai: Pens, Pencils, Highlighters
- Young: Folders, Construction Paper, College Ruled Paper
- Rhodes: Kids Scissors, Erasers, Glue Sticks
- Nerderman: Composition Notebooks, Small Individual Wrapped Candy
- Crabtree: Small Snacks: such as Granola Bars, Peanut Butter Crackers, Crackers, Dried Fruit, Nuts, etc.
- White: Coloring Books, Crayons, Small Individual Wrapped Candy
kindergarten and 1st Grade
Every year at the end of Spiritual Emphasis Week, we have the opportunity to partake in the SEW Service Day to benefit ministries and organizations around the city. Over the next two weeks, the Kindergarten and 1st grade classes will be collecting supplies that will help benefit a local ministry, Preston Taylor Ministries. PTM is a place that builds life changing relationships with children in their community with a mission to empower them to discover and live their God-inspired dreams, develop a love for learning, and build joy-filled friendships that glorify Jesus Christ.
One of their biggest needs currently involves collecting packages of wet wipes and small bottles of hand sanitizer so they can safely run their in-person programs. Additionally, we will be making care packages for these students filled with snacks and notes of encouragement. We have an incredible opportunity to love our neighbors and assist them in serving our community by bringing in the following supplies:
- Kaufman, Smith, Chiaramonte: Wet Wipes and Small Snacks such as Granola Bars, Peanut Butter Crackers, Crackers, Dried Fruit, Nuts, etc.
- Walker, Hayes, Sentell: Hand Sanitizer and Small Individually Wrapped Candy
2nd Grade
Every year at the end of Spiritual Emphasis Week, we have the opportunity to partake in the SEW Service Day to benefit ministries and organizations around the city. Over the next two weeks, the 2nd grade classes will be collecting supplies that will help benefit one of our partner ministries, Lighthouse Family Retreat. LFR is a ministry that seeks to strengthen families living though childhood cancer by offering restorative retreats and helpful resources.
One of the current programs in which we can contribute involves making hospital care packages for children filled with goodies, snacks, and notes of encouragement. We have an incredible opportunity to love our neighbors by bringing in the following supplies:
Marsh: Small journals, notebooks, sketch pads, Pens, Pencils, Small Snacks (such as Granola Bars, Peanut Butter Crackers, Crackers, Dried Fruit, Nuts, etc.)
LaCroix: Crayons, Markers, Coloring Books, Lip Balm, Mini Hand Sanitizer, Mini Hand Lotion
Wilbanks: Small Travel Games or card games, Small Individual Wrapped Candy (lollipops, lifesavers, tic tacs, gum, etc.)
All students: Fun socks, $5 Gift Cards to Starbucks
3rd Grade
Every year at the end of Spiritual Emphasis Week, we have the opportunity to partake in the SEW Service Day to benefit ministries and organizations around the city. Over the next two weeks, the 3rd grade classes will be collecting supplies that will help benefit one of our partner ministries, Bethlehem Centers of Nashville. Bethlehem Centers serve children, youth, and seniors in North Nashville by providing educational programs and special services.
One of their biggest needs currently involves collecting hygiene and cleaning items so they have enough resources on hand to fill the needs of their community. Additionally, we will be making care packages for the 200 kids and seniors in their program with candy and notes of encouragement. We have an incredible opportunity to love our neighbors and assist them in serving our community by bringing in the following supplies:
- Sizemore: Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Bars of Soap, and Small Individual Wrapped Candy
- Fasano: Dishwashing Liquid, and Small Individual Wrapped Candy
- Millar: Multi-Purpose Cleaners, Pine Sol, Wash Cloths, and Small Individual Wrapped Candy
4th grade
Every year at the end of Spiritual Emphasis Week, we have the opportunity to partake in the SEW Service Day to benefit ministries and organizations around the city. Over the next two weeks, the 4th grade classes will be collecting supplies that will help benefit one of our partner ministries, the West Nashville Dream Center. WNDC is an organization serving an under-resourced community in West Nashville with a goal to improve the safety and quality of life in the surrounding neighborhoods.
One of their biggest needs currently involves activities and supplies for kids in their program during breaks from virtual school. Additionally, we will be making care packages for these students filled with snacks and notes of encouragement. We have an incredible opportunity to love our neighbors and assist them in serving our community by bringing in the following supplies:
- Manning: Basketballs, Coloring Books, Small Toys
- Fleming: Soccer balls, Markers, Crayons, Sidewalk Chalk
- Williams: Wiffle Balls and bats, Individually Wrapped Snacks and Candy
Additionally, other needs include headphones for their online classes and small games to play during break time.
Middle School
5th Grade

Additionally, they have a need for winter coats! If any family has any winter coats they would be willing to donate, that would be excellent! The next group of refugees arrives when it will still be cold, and are in need of coats.
Upper School
9th Grade
Every year at the end of Spiritual Emphasis Week, we have the opportunity to partake in the SEW Service Day to benefit ministries and organizations around the city. Over the next two weeks, the 9th Grade Advisories will be collecting supplies that will help benefit one of our partner ministries, American Caribbean Experience. ACE is an ministry in St. Mary’s, Jamaica that seeks to meet the basic needs of their communities through education, healthcare, enterprise, and discipleship. We’ve had the opportunity to send 5 mission teams from FRA to serve in Jamaica over the years and look forward to serving them this year remotely.
One of their biggest needs currently involves school supplies for the students in their programs and some basic hygiene items for their families. We have an incredible opportunity to love our neighbors and assist them in serving our community by bringing in the following supplies:

10th grade
Every year at the end of Spiritual Emphasis Week, we have the opportunity to partake in the SEW Service Day to benefit ministries and organizations around the city. Over the next two weeks, the 10th Grade Advisories will be collecting supplies that will help benefit one of our partner organizations, The King’s Daughters’ School. TKDS promotes independence through educational, residential and community services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
In years’ past, we’ve welcomed them on campus and thrown a Valentine’s festival for them, but due to COVID we will collect supplies and make each student a care package with goodies and notes of encouragement. We have an incredible opportunity to love our neighbors by bringing in the following supplies:
- Berkompas: Stickers (at least 200-300 sheets) and Crayons (100 8-ct)
- Berry: Bouncy Balls (at least 200) and Popcorn (90 individually wrapped packages)
- Feyes: Blow Pops (at least 300) and Packages of Candy Hearts (at least 200-300)
- Halpin: Play Doh (at least 180 small (4oz) containers)
- Palmermore: Mini Bubbles (at least 200)
- Virgin, Wiley and Wilson: Coloring Books (at least 100)
- Zepeda: Small individually packaged candy
11th grade
Every year at the end of Spiritual Emphasis Week, we have the opportunity to partake in the SEW Service Day to benefit ministries and organizations around the city. Over the next two weeks, the 11th Grade Advisories will be collecting in order to replenish FRA Service Club’s Emergency Relief Supplies. During local and regional disasters, such as last spring’s tornadoes, we want to be able to provide instant relief to local organizations and ministries serving the affected communities.
We have an incredible opportunity to love our neighbors at the drop of a hat when emergencies arise by bringing in the following supplies:
- Albright: Packages of Clothespins, Scrub Brushes (with or without handles), and Scouring pads (no stainless steel or pads with soap in them)
- Black: Re-usable cleaning wipes (no terrycloth, microfiber, or paper towels),
- Cascarano: Air fresheners (size 4-8oz. or 3 solid/gel tabs – must be pump spray or tabs)
- Flegel: Work gloves (leather or cotton with leather palm) and Kitchen gloves (must be multi-use)
- Gilreath: Dish soap (16-34oz. bottle – liquid only)
- Jones: Insect Repellent (sizes 6-14oz pump spray or pack of 10-20 wipes)
- Salato: N95 Particulate Respirator Dust Masks (1-3mm thickness; no surgical masks)
- Stabler: Trash bags (33-45 gallon sizes)
- Stacy: Laundry detergent (32-64 oz. – liquid only)
- Strazerri: Household cleaner (16-40oz. – liquid concentrate only; no sprays)
- EVERYONE: 5 Gallon Buckets (snap lid only) – new or used, but must be clean if used
12th grade

Over the next two weeks, the 12th Grade Advisories will be collecting supplies that will help benefit a local ministry, Nashville YoungLives. Nashville YoungLives is Young Life's local ministry for teen moms. They engage in relationships with pregnant and parenting teens and their babies by entering their world, displaying the unconditional love of Christ, and calling them into their role as women and mothers who have been deeply purposed by God.
One of their biggest needs currently involves creating newborn baskets for their expecting new parents. We have an incredible opportunity to love our neighbors and assist them in serving our community by bringing in the following supplies:
