SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS WEEK

Lorem Ipsum Dolor

While FRA’s Christian mission is evident in the daily life of our school, Spiritual Emphasis Week is a hallmark event that allows our entire community to focus more intentionally on faith and engage with the Gospel in ways that shape how we live and lead. Held each February, SEW is a meaningful time dedicated to growing in our understanding of Christ and deepening relationships with one another.

Centered around a biblical theme, the week features inspiring guest speakers, powerful performances, thoughtful discussions, and engaging service opportunities. Each element is designed to invite students and faculty into a deeper relationship with Jesus and a stronger sense of community.

In addition to daily chapels, several key events foster connection across grade levels:

  • Panther Pals: Middle and upper school students visit lower school classrooms to build relationships and work together on a shared service project.
  • All-School Lunch: Midway through the week, students gather in mixed-age groups to share a meal and fellowship across divisions.

The week culminates in our annual SEW Service Day, where students from all divisions serve both on campus and throughout Nashville. Partnering with local ministries and organizations, students have the opportunity to live out faith in action through packing care packages for families in need, creating blankets for people experiencing homelessness, creating celebrations for children and adults with special needs, and more. It’s a day that brings faith to life as we follow Jesus’ example to serve and love one another.
