Adventure Camp (Grades 1-4, $145)

Football camp gives young players the opportunity to improve their skill level no matter their experience. Whether you are a first time player or a prime time player, you will be challenged in a way that lets you improve your fundamental skills during the week. Campers will learn the fundamentals, techniques, and principals of the game.

JR Panther Camp - Safari (Grades PreK4-K, $145/$260*)

JR Panther Camp offers a camp setting that better meets the needs of your PreK – K age child. The morning camp sessions will include academic, arts/crafts, and other activities that are based upon that week’s theme. Campers that register for the full day option will be provided with the opportunity for rest, recreational time, and other activities that mirror a child’s day in FRA’s PreK and Kindergarten program. MINECRAFT STOP MOTION MOVIE MAKING (Grades 1-4, $200)

June 4-8, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Lights…Camera…Action! Welcome to the exciting world of Stop Motion Movies. This camp will focus on teaching the basics of Stop Motion Movie creation using the exciting worlds of Minecraft and its characters. Each child will learn to write a script, build a set, direct and edit their own Stop Motion movie. Each child should bring their own IPod, IPad, or laptop with camera to class. A free editing software will also need to be downloaded for the week. At the end of the week a special You Tube channel will be created so that the kids may share their creations with family and friends. Please pack a snack and drink daily.

REV ROBOTS AND ENGINEERS (Grades 2-8, $400)

June 4-8, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. (Full day camp)

Students begin with Lego Mindstorm robotics, and then transition into the world of engineering and robotics with Arduinos! This class is great for the hands-on tinkerers and engineers of tomorrow who love to figure out how things work and put robots together. We also focus on the code - as students code their Mindstorms through challenges and then learn to code their Arduinos to use motors, lights, and more! We build and program 3-5 bots throughout the week. Students are challenged as they program their bots to traverse fun courses with challenges. Campers will be separated into age groups, 2-4 and 5-8. Get ready for multiple REV Robot Battle competitions every week!!

TGA Golf (Grades 1-8, $175)

TGA brings the golf course to you, making it convenient and affordable to learn and play the sport in a fun and safe environment. Kid-friendly instructors help students develop golf skills and knowledge, while using the sport to teach valuable life lessons like honesty and sportsmanship.

WOODCRAFT WORKSHOP (Grades 1-4, $145)

June 4-8, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

This camp offers hands-on experience for kids who enjoy woodworking! Campers will have the opportunity to assemble and paint/stain “kid-friendly” wood projects (i.e. squirrel feeder, bird house, gumball machine, etc.). Students will learn shop safety and the use of basic hand tools (no power tools). All campers will leave with creations that they are proud to displace and say that they made themselves!

Boys Basketball (Grades 1-8, $125)

FRA Boys Basketball camp gives young players the opportunity to improve their skill level no matter their experience. Brain Camp by LearningRX (Grades 3-8, $200)

A cognitive enrichment program for kids ages 8 to 14, Brain Camp is filled with fun activities that work on brain skills, like memory, attention, and logic—core skills the brain uses to learn and think. At Brain Camp, your child will also learn and practice: simple techniques for easy memorization, problem-solving skills, the power of attitude, work ethic, self-motivation, and more.

Dance (Grades 1-4, $125)

Bring exciting stories to life as we enjoy making and eating a variety of meals, snacks, and desserts inspired by some of our favorite books! Each day we’ll add several new recipes and stories to our collection, and by the end of the week, we’ll have a cookbook to bring home and share!

ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, BUILD! (Grades K-4, $200)

June 4-8, 12 p.m.- 3 p.m.

This camp is designed for the child who is already building LEGO® sets with instructions independently. Campers will chose from hundreds of themed sets from which to build. Themes such as Star Wars, CITY, Ninjago, CHIMA, Atlantis, Agents and more. Campers will be seated by age group and will be encouraged to build independently as well as in small groups on larger projects such as the Death Star and The Taj Mahal. The Camp Brick staff will assist your child if needed and offer helpful building tips as your child builds and displays their creations. A few times during the week campers may enjoy some social games and contests for prizes. At the end of the day campers will display their creations for parents to view. Bring a camera and please pack a snack and a water bottle daily.

YOUNG JEDI BRICK MASTER TRAINING (Grades K-1, $200)

This summer the force is strong at Camp Brick. During this exciting week at camp your child will create their very own Jedi costume including cloak and light saber. As part of their training each day will include LEGO® building activities as well as Star Wars themed games. Your child will create their very own battle station, build a Jedi fighter, learn about and visit many different galaxies or simply enjoy building one of the hundreds of LEGO® Star Wars® sets in the Camp Brick library. On Friday a very special Jedi Knight graduation ceremony with certificate will be awarded to each child. Please pack a nutritious snack and a water bottle daily.

Build Your Own Video Game with Bloxels (Grades 2-8, $145)

June 4-8, 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Come join Mrs. Keener, Lower School STEM Teacher, for a fun-filled week of video game creation! Students will use Bloxels, which is a coding kit, and an iPad to create their very own video game. The week will start with students developing the story behind their video game. Then, they will build their characters, levels, and scene using Bloxels. We will use the iPads to transform their creations into an online game. The week will culminate with students getting to play each other’s games! This is a great STEM related camp, which brings in elements of coding, technology, gaming strategy, and creativity.

Week 2 - June 11 - June 15

Baseball (Grades 5-8, $125)

This is a camp designed for Middle School baseball players who want to improve their skills related to hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running. This camp will also help players begin to make the transition to the larger sized baseball field they will be playing on in 7th and 8th grades and beyond.

Equipment required: Baseball cleats, glove, bat, and tennis shoes.

Mr. Bond Crazy Chemistry (Grades 1-6, $160)

June 11-15, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Instructor: Keith Trehy, owner of Mr. Bond and the Science Guys

Cost: $160

Explosions, bubbling potions, chemical reactions! Kids will make elephant toothpaste, freeze fruit with liquids nitrogen, create 20 foot geysers with cool chemicals and learn about the elements on our huge periodic table. Totally hands-on and age appropriate.

GARDEN TO SPOON (Grades 1-4, $200)

Let’s get our hands dirty has we learn about gardening and food! Garden with us by making take home garden boxes with a variety of herbs and other accessories for your garden. Create some daily delicious treat with healthy foods! Toss in our special ingredient of nature based crafts and you have from garden to spoon camp!

INTRO TO DRONE FLYING MISSIONS (Grades 1-2, $400*)

June 11-15, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Grades: Rising 1 – 2

Instructor: Drobots

Cost: $400

Designed for campers with little to no experience flying drones. We use the safest and most reliable drone products on the market, including the Parrot™ drones for enhanced safety and most of all, fun. Campers will learn the basics of drone technology and safety before taking to the air. Through the use of iPad flight simulators and clear instructions on basic flying maneuvers, young Drobots’ pilots will experience a program filled with excitement, games, and learning. Campers work all week long to prepare for the most enjoyable part of the week: the Ultimate Drone Games that include events such as: Tic-Tac-Drone, Drone Darts, and Duck-Duck-Drone.

ULTIMATE DRONE OBSTACLE CHALLENGE (Grades 3-5, $400*)

June 11-15, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Grades: Rising 3 – 5

This program is specifically designed for both the novice and experienced drone enthusiasts. This is week is filled with pure action as students enjoy one of the world’s fastest growing sports, Drone Obstacle Racing. Campers will first learn about the basic safety of drone flying and the history behind drone racing as a sport. From there, campers will progress through various skill challenges and learn how to perform various exercises

and maneuvers to become familiar with the drone’s speed and agility. Campers will use iPads and remote controls to navigate the drone through short and long obstacle courses. Participants will also create the design and help build the obstacle course in preparation for the last day’s final activity and competition.

girls lacrosse (Grades 6-9, $125)

FRA Lacrosse camp provides players of all positions and ability levels the opportunity to improve every facet of their game in a positive and challenging environment. If you’re looking to learn lacrosse, improve your individual skills, have fun and meet new friends, then this is the camp for you!

Equipment required: Women’s lacrosse stick, women’s lacrosse goggles, mouth guard, cleats or sneakers, and water bottle.

Do you love to run? I do! Come join us in some fun campus running this summer. This camp is designed for young students who either love to run or who want to just learn a fun sport they can do for life. We will learn proper warm ups and cool downs to prevent injuries, get some fun runs in around campus, meet some new friends and enjoy some popsicles.

Equipment required: Shorts, T-shirt, and running shoes.

DRONE SUPERHERO MISSIONS (Grades 3-5, $400*)

June 18-22, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Grades: Rising 3 – 5

This program is specifically designed for both the novice and experienced drone enthusiasts. Our instructors will open the creative minds of participants as campers attack and defend against Super Heroes and Villains. Students will begin the week learning basic maneuvers before using their “Spidey-Sense” to conquer missions such as: Daredevil in Distress; Batman’s Drone Mobile Escape, The Breakout of Iron Man and more. Participants will storyboard their own escape missions while other students attempt to outsmart them using the drone to locate and capture.

Drone safety and the social responsibilities of flying drones are included in this program.

DRONE RACING AND OBSTACLE CHALLENGE (Grades 6-8, $400*)

Tennessee Titans Youth Football Camps develop athletic skills, football skills and life skills within a safe and fun non-contact format. Available to boys and girls ages 6-14 years old, camps are led by USA Football-certified, Pro Sports Experience-trained coaches with supplemental instruction from Tennessee Titans Alumni Heroes (former Titans) like Blaine Bishop, Derrick Mason, Brad Hopkins, Justin Geisinger, Gerald McRath and Neil O’Donnell . Within our non-contact format, learn to run, throw, catch, defend, form-block, form-tackle and explode out of a stance with proper technique and improved speed.

The Science Guys will explore the science of Super Heroes with experiments about more than a dozen super heroes as well as some villains such as amazing magnetic powers, web throwing, laser eyes, and ice powers! What’s the science behind it all? Can you become a hero with any of these powers? Feel free to dress up and get ready to save the world with science!

Get ready to explore the exciting world of robotics. During this camp your child will be introduced to programming and building simple models with LEGO® bricks from the new LEGO BOOST program. These exciting creations will move and make sound. This class combines education with fun and excitement. Basic knowledge of gears, motors, and pulleys will be introduced. Campers will work in pairs according to age or by request to be with a friend.

MUSICAL THEATRE I (Grades k-1, $145)

Students will practice songs and dances to perform on stage on Friday morning. Students will learn good vocal technique, stage presence, dance combinations, speaking expressively, and using a microphone.

NASHVILLE ADVENTURES (Grades 3-8, $145)

We will spend the week exploring several different Nashville treasures. We will see some popular sites in Nashville such as the Parthenon, the Nashville Zoo, and many more. We will also have some special treats like Jeni’s Ice Cream and 5 Daughters Bakery.

Students will practice songs and dances to perform on stage on Friday afternoon. Students will learn good vocal technique, stage presence, dance combinations, speaking expressively, and using a microphone.

ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, BUILD! (Grades k-4, $200)

This camp is designed for the child who is already building LEGO® sets with instructions independently. Campers will chose from hundreds of themed sets from which to build. Themes such as Star Wars, CITY, Ninjago, CHIMA, Atlantis, Agents and more. Campers will be seated by age group and will be encouraged to build independently as well as in small groups on larger projects such as the Death Star and The Taj Mahal. The Camp Brick staff will assist your child if needed and offer helpful building tips as your child builds and displays their creations. A few times during the week campers may enjoy some social games and contests for prizes. At the end of the day campers will display their creations for parents to view.

Bring a camera and please pack a snack and a water bottle daily.

SCIENCE EXPLORATORIUM (Grades 3-6, $200)

Come discover, experiment, and create as we learn about the colliding worlds of art and science in this STEAM-based camp. We will create biomes from around the world, star gaze at constellations, master meteorology, investigate how things work and dabble in chemistry and physics. Put on your learning cap and grab the art supplies because this STEAM camp will rock your world.

YOUNG JEDI BRICK MASTER TRAINING (Grades k-1, $200)

This summer the force is strong at Camp Brick. During this exciting week at camp your child will create their very own Jedi costume including cloak and light saber. As part of their training each day will include LEGO® building activities as well as Star Wars themed games. Your child will create their very own battle station, build a Jedi fighter, learn about and visit many different galaxies or simply enjoy building one of the hundreds of LEGO® Star Wars® sets in the Camp Brick library. On Friday a very special Jedi Knight graduation ceremony with certificate will be awarded to each child.

Please pack a nutritious snack and a water bottle daily.

The FRA Soccer Camp is a great camp for all beginner thru intermediate players. Rising 1st-4th graders will be separated from the rising 5th-8th graders within the same camp week. The younger players will participate in skill based games, activities, and scrimmages. The older players will participate in a goalkeeper vs. goal scorer camp.

A cognitive enrichment program for kids ages 8 to14, Brain Camp is filled with fun activities that work on brain skills, like memory, attention, and logic—core skills the brain uses to learn and think. At Brain Camp, your child will also learn and practice: simple techniques for easy memorization, problem-solving skills, the power of attitude, work ethic, self-motivation, and more.
