The COVID-19 tests offered on-site at FRA will be PCR (non-rapid) tests. Results are guaranteed within 48 hours and will be accessible via an online patient portal for families to review. Currently, antigen (rapid) testing is not available.
Testing will be available to all FRA students, faculty, staff, and their household family members. Testing will be conducted by FRA Health Center staff members and offered to individuals who are symptomatic or have been identified as a close contact to a positive case. As per our agreement with PathGroup labs and our ordering physician, testing is not available for any other purpose.
Testing will be conducted Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 7:15-8:15 a.m. and Wednesday mornings from 8:15-9:15 a.m. (excluding school holidays and inclement weather days) under the South Campus Portico. Please click here for a map of the testing location.

Being in close contact with someone who has COVID-19. Close contact is defined as being within 6 feet for a total of 15 minutes or more without the use of a face covering. The CDC provides an exception for the school setting which defines close contact as being within 3 feet of a positive case.

Stay home if symptoms develop, contact your healthcare provider, and notify the FRA Health Center
New cough, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, fever, chills, congestion, sore throat, headache, fatigue, or nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
Middle and upper school students will eat in the Weicker Center Dining Hall. Lower school students in grades K-4 will eat in the lower school dining hall, and pre-kindergarten and junior kindergarten students eat in their classrooms. Outdoor seating options will also be available.

We will maintain social distancing when possible to help reduce the chance of virus transmission and limit close contacts. We will return to our normal campus model where students across grade levels and divisions will have the opportunity to interact with one another. Parents and students will have the option to opt out of these occasional cross-divisional events.
We will continue to encourage frequent hand washing and provide hand sanitation stations across campus.
We regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a Clorox Total 360 electrostatic spraying system and PURE Bioscience disinfectant. Classroom surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized nightly by our professional cleaning service. The school has additional daytime staff and evening cleaning personnel to provide the necessary work force to clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. We have hand-sanitation dispensers around campus and provide regularly scheduled hand sanitizing breaks throughout the day. An additional disinfectant will be sprayed in all classrooms and common areas on campus every other weekend.
We have upgraded air filters in all air conditioning units across campus and added plasma generators to eliminate pathogens and bacteria in units that service common areas, multiple classrooms or areas where outside ventilation is not accessible. When possible, we will hold classes outdoors and provide regular outdoor breaks for students.
